This project explores the design of a living room within an office building, imagined as a space for pause, contemplation, and visual connection with the surrounding landscape. The room is strategically positioned to open up to the Hasliberg river, creating a direct visual and emotional link between the interior and its geographical context.
By framing the river through arched openings, the architecture emphasizes the site’s natural serenity, while fostering a sense of calm and spatial clarity. The room functions as both a retreat and a statement—a place that quietly highlights the presence of the landscape rather than competing with it.
The aim was to translate a sense of stillness into spatial form, anchoring the interior experience in the rhythm of the river outside.
